No, the first Gaiman I read was Neverwhere, which you gave me. It was very good! So when I saw this on the shelf I thought I’d give it a try.
if you like it, there’s a novella sequel in Fragile Things, Gaiman’s 2nd short story collection (which also has a Holmesish short story called A Study in Emerald which is excellent).
