What a good day!

A recap. First, we got things started with a trip to the Zoo. 2,100 readers in Tacoma read 10 books this summer through the library’s summer reads program, and got free admission to the zoo for their reward. I got to welcome them to the zoo this morning. It brought together my favorite things these days: Books and Parks. But we couldn’t waste such a beautiful day. Catch my candidate forum on TV Tacoma! (on TV through next Monday)

TV Tacoma and the League of Women Voters taped candidate forums a few weeks ago. The program containing the Metro Parks Position 5 race airs at the following times: Thursday, August 11 – 1pmFriday, August 12 – 10pm Saturday, August 13 – 5pm Sunday, August 14 – 3pmMonday, August 15 – 4am & 8pm Note: the parks forum airs about an hour and 50 minutes into the program. Writing update! Time for a end-of-month report on three novels.

It’s nice to have a blog for this kind of thing, because putting it out into the world helps keep me accountable for the writing I still want to do.
