With the most recent vote count this afternoon, I have added more votes on top of last night's initial margin of victory. There will be more ballots coming in over the next week, but with today's batch recorded, I think it's safe to say …  I won! I want to thank everyone who supported me–who gave advice, who loaned their talent, who volunteered to wave signs and doorbell, and who donated to the campaign. I am so looking forward to continuing on the Metro Parks Board for a full term. Thank you to everyone who made it possible.

I met the owner of some Round Table Pizza franchises today (not sure which ones exactly). I told him Round Table pizza was my favorite chain pizza. He said something like, "I bet you say that about all the pizzas." And I said: "The number to your University Place location is 565-3000." He paused and said, "Ok, I believe you."
