True Story.

I met the owner of some Round Table Pizza franchises today (not sure which ones exactly). I told him Round Table pizza was my favorite chain pizza. He said something like, "I bet you say that about all the pizzas." And I said: "The number to your University Place location is 565-3000." He paused and said, "Ok, I believe you."

Homemade Pasta. First Attempt.

See the full gallery on Posterous A successful first attempt. Turns out this was really fun and easy with the pasta rolling machine. While I made the noodles, Mary made a great oregano sauce. I think I’ll try more egg in the dough next time. And getting a pasta rack might be better than drying it over the back of a chair. But this was really good! Excited for the next batch.

Paintball Sunday

I've got on quite a few layers here: tshirt, hoodie sweatshirt, and then massive camoflauge jacket. Strapped around my waist are paintball refills, and you can see the tip of my gun there too. We played nearly 10 separate games with a variety of rules on a variety of different fields. I ran around a bit, but mostly squatted and shot over the edges of bunkers. This year’s Christmas tree is so money and it doesn’t even know it.

See the full gallery on Posterous A year ago we were given some beautiful origami dollar bills from our friends Seamus, Liz, and Marguerite. We saved them and used them as ornaments for our Christmas tree. The stars on top are particularly cool. Each was made with five bills interlocked into a star. Very cool! We added chocolate Euro coins to the mix as well to give it a little sparkle.
