Tacoma Reads Together Author here on Sunday!

William Kamkwamba, author of The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, will be in Tacoma Sunday at 2:00 at the downtown Tacoma library to speak about his story. Morning projects

I've got some work projects I'm working on that require a few hours of uninterrupted time to really hammer them out. I'm trying to create a morning schedule to help me find the time and really get some good work done: Wake up and make coffee. Pet the cat. Read (or write) a book for 1/2 hour to an hour. Work on the project for an hour to two hours. Only then, check email. This gets me a great start to the morning. It's nice to start the day with coffee and book. Back From The Great Midwest

I had a great time in Minnesota over the weekend. This was my first time visiting as an Alumni Council member for my alma mater Carleton College. I get to venture back twice a year! Once in the beautiful spring and once in the beautiful fall. Pretty much the best two times to be in Northfield, Minnesota. Along the way we got to meet up with Mary's family and also a couple Minnesota-based clients. So really, pretty great!
