After more than three years hosting my blog on Posterous, I’ve finally decided to call it quits and create my own blog on my own site. This site was created using WordPress, a blog platform that has improved dramatically since the first time I checked it out.

Posterous was a great resource for many years, but after having been acquired by Twitter, development on the system has been pretty much non-existent, and–when it really comes down to it–I wanted something much more customizable anyway.

Because the truth is, I’ve been wanting more than a blog these days. I wanted a place to have information about my books, Side x Side, parks, and the other projects that I dabble in around Tacoma. I hope that the new-and-improved can be that site.

So welcome!

The tour is pretty quick: there’s some information about my books at the top,¬†some links to me elsewhere around the Internet to your right, and blog posts at the bottom.

See? Easy!

I also plan to post more frequently than I have been the last few months. Maybe even (gasp!) a couple times a week instead of a couple times a month.

I can already tell that 2013 is going to be a very interesting year. I hope I’ll be able to chart my progress for everyone right here.

Happy New Year, everyone. Thanks to all the long-time readers who have stuck around.
