I still write every so often for GTDTimes, the official Getting Things Done blog. One of my last posts got quoted in Britain's "Globe and Mail" newspaper!
I have a more philosophical post up this time, as opposed to a practical guide, if you will. But it still turned out pretty well and got good buzz and comments on Twitter.
For implementing GTD you can use this web-based application:
Gtdagenda.com
You can use it to manage your goals, projects and tasks, set next actions and contexts, use checklists, schedules and a calendar.
Comes with a mobile version too, and with an Android app.
I’ve been a proponent of GTD for quite some time now, and used it extensively when I worked in Higher Ed. Now that fate has dealt me a twisted hand, I find myself working in Retail. I don’t have much use for GTD, but still tell people about it when they come into my store.
The crazy thing is, I MISS using GTD. I actually find myself trying to create reasons to create some type of inbox, contexts, etc. Strange how you find a system that works and you crave using it instead of letting it slip into disarray.
