Today was my first day on the job as the new (and first!) Executive Director for City Club of Tacoma.

The non-profit celebrates its 25th year this year. Their mission: "To provide a nonpartisan forum that brings people together to explore issues and ideas affecting the South Sound community." I feel like that mission is a really good fit for me.

It's a part time job, so I'll still have lots of time to devote to Mary Holste Design, which I run with my wife, and my other projects (I'll eventually post about those later).

I'm very excited about the job and the opportunities to work with a cool organization. So yay! A very good Ides of July. 🙂
